Baked Chicken Tenders with Honey Mustard

This is a healthy alternative to fried chicken tenders. Despite being baked, these are crispy, juicy and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Tenders, Boneless (1 1/2 Pounds)

  • Black Pepper

  • Breadcrumbs, Plain (2 Cups)

  • Kosher Salt

  • Dijon Mustard (1/2 Cup)

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (1 Tablespoon)

  • Honey (1/2 Cup)

  • Mayonnaise (1/4 Cup)

  1. The honey mustard dip can be made up to two days in advance. Just cover and refrigerate.

    Place the chicken tenders in a large mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper.

    Pour Dijon mustard over the chicken strips. Use hands to coat each strip, then place in the breadcrumbs and coat evenly. Place the breaded chicken on the prepared sheet pan. Do not crowd the pan. Use another sheet pan if necessary.
